JPRO Inspect Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

J-Pro Inspects, LLC provides residential and commercial property inspection services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • General Home Inspections
  • Pre-Listing Inspections
  • Septic Inspections
  • Radon and Mold Testing
  • WDI (Wood-Destroying Insect) Inspections
  • Sewer Scope Inspections
  • Sprinklers (Seasonal)
  • Air Particle Testing
  • Commercial Property Inspections

All inspections are performed in accordance with applicable Utah regulations and recognized industry standards, such as InterNACHI and/or ASTM, and are intended to provide an objective visual evaluation of the property at the time of inspection.

2. Scheduling and Payment

  • Inspection appointments may be scheduled via our website, phone, or email.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, checks, and electronic transfers.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled inspection.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.

3. Inspection Limitations

All inspections performed by J-Pro Inspects, LLC are non-invasive and visual in nature. Only systems and components that are readily accessible at the time of inspection will be evaluated.

Inspections do not include:

  • Code or zoning compliance verification
  • Invasive or destructive testing (e.g., opening walls, ceilings, or floors)
  • Environmental hazards not specifically contracted for (including, but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, or underground contaminants)
  • Specialty inspections unless expressly requested and agreed to in writing (such as pools, chimneys, or advanced engineering evaluations)

No inspection is a guarantee of future performance, condition, or life expectancy of any system or component.

4. Reports and Findings

  • Inspection reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours following the inspection.
  • Reports are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute warranties or guarantees.
  • The client is responsible for reviewing the report in its entirety and consulting licensed professionals for repairs, corrections, or further evaluation when recommended.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide clear and safe access to all inspection areas, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, garages, and utility rooms
  • Secure pets and occupants that may interfere with or endanger the inspection
  • Disclose any known hazards, defects, or conditions that may pose a safety risk to the inspector

Failure to provide access may limit the scope of the inspection and does not reduce the inspection fee.

6. Liability and Disclaimers

  • The maximum liability of J-Pro Inspects, LLC for any claim, loss, or damage shall be limited to the total fee paid for the inspection service.
  • We are not responsible for concealed or latent defects, future failures, or conditions that were not visible or accessible at the time of inspection.
  • Use of our services or website does not create any express or implied warranty.

7. Website Use

All website content, text, logos, images, and materials are the property of J-Pro Inspects, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Any legal action arising from these Terms or services shall be brought in the appropriate courts within the State of Utah.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Contact Information

SMS Communication Terms of Service MUST be included in the privacy policy or as a separate document. If the customer has a Terms and Conditions page, this information should be included there, and not in the privacy policy.

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

  1. Types of SMS Communications:

If you have consented to receive text messages from [Company Name], you may receive messages related to the following (provide specific examples):

  • Appointment reminders
  • Follow-up messages
  • Billing inquiries
  • Promotions or offers (if applicable) {If you see the customer selected a conversational use case, do not add this reference to your email thread; instead, make sure the customer adds the matching use cases to this portion of the Terms info}.
Example: "Hello, this is a friendly reminder of your upcoming appointment with Dr. [Name] at [Location] on [Date] at [Time]. You can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from (Brand Name) at any time."
